YATIA envisages an African Continent in which there will be a total eradication of Tribalism (Ethnicity), discrimination and any other form of injustice practices against humanity; aimed at building a pacific and cohesive African continent that will adopt a peaceful and nonviolent society.

The Youth Against Tribalism In Africa (YATIA) is a registered non-governmental peacebuilding and human rights organization working with youth and communities to fight ethnic and religious discrimination, human rights violations, and fostering peaceful co-existence, democracy, transparency, education and economic growth and vitalization by instituting educationally related programs in Liberia. Since its inception in 2009, YATIA has partnered with the Liberian Government through the (Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Liberia Peace-building Office, Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection), UNICEF, IOM, the United States Government through its Embassy in Monrovia, Action-aid Liberia, Talking Drum Studio, OSIWA and communities in Liberia and implementing projects on education, policy advocacy, human rights, environment, peace, youth capacity building, democracy and conflict-related issues. With 4 employees and 10 committed volunteers, the institution has an outstanding record in youth capacity building and mentor-ship, grassroots advocacy, education, peace-building and conflict resolution from a national and broader perspective, Currently, YATIA is undertaking an educational program that is directly benefiting 180 most at-risk children; providing them with educational support packages and instituting measures and program that will stimulate their academic journey through organizing science fair, quizzing, essay writing and debate competitions.
